We support multiple student login methods to make logging in to eSpark a breeze!

We support these methods for students logins:

  1. Google

  2. Clever

  3. Classlink

  4. Usernames & Passwords

  5. QR codes

πŸ’‘ If your school uses both Google and Clever, we suggest picking one or the other for eSpark and sticking with it for the best experience for you and your students.

πŸ’‘ If your school uses Classlink, you will not be able to use another rostering method in addition to Classlink.

How students log in with Google

Students with Google accounts click the Sign in with Google button at espark.app.

There are two ways Google students can be linked to your class in eSpark.

If you use Google Classroom, you can import your students directly on the Class Roster by clicking the + Create new class button.

Alternatively, you can skip rostering and have your students join your class with your class code which can be found on the Class Roster. This method is best for classes where teachers have Google accounts but that don't use Google Classroom.

For more information on rostering with Google, check out our eSpark & Google Guide.

How students log in with Clever

First, teachers must sign in to eSpark with Clever to import their students from Clever to eSpark.

Then, students go to their teacher's page in Clever to be automatically logged in to eSpark.

For more information on rostering with Clever, check out our eSpark & Clever Guide.

How students log in with Classlink

First, a Classlink admin at your school or district must share your Classlink data with eSpark.

Then, students go to their Classlink Launchpad and click the eSpark icon to log in.

For more information on eSpark's Classlink integration, check out our eSpark & Classlink Guide.

How students log in manually

Usernames & passwords

You can find your students' usernames and passwords on the Class Roster. You can also print login cards for them from the Class Roster.

πŸ’‘ Note: student usernames and passwords are NOT case-sensitive. eSpark will automatically capitalize the letters for students as they type.

QR codes

On Chromebooks and other computers:

Each student's login card has a unique QR code on it. Students logging in at espark.app can click the QR code button to log in.

On iPads:

Students using iPads should scan their QR code to the camera in the Camera App! Once scanned, eSpark will open automatically!

Check out our eSpark Manual Rostering Guide for more information on rostering manually.
