Our partner schools and districts can share their Star Renaissance data with us, and we can use it to set student levels for eSpark! (Don't worry if you don't use Star, your students will take a placement quiz in eSpark instead!)
These three quick steps are usually completed by the school or district tech team.
1. Sharing Star data via Renaissance
Please see this resource for detailed directions from Renaissance on how to share your data with us! Be sure to share the following assessments with eSpark:
All STAR Reading Data
All STAR Math Data
All STAR Early Literacy Data
2. Matching students to their test scores
In addition to the Star data, we also need a special CSV file so we can connect the students' eSpark accounts to their Star scores. You can find a template here, and upload it to our secure file sharing link.
A couple of things to note:
This file only needs to be submitted 1x per school year
If your district uses Classlink with eSpark, we do not need this file.
3. Timing your Star data sync
Please email our Support team at support@esparklearning.com to share your fall, winter, and spring testing windows close dates so we can plan to pull the data after each window.
Feel free to reach out to our Support team by clicking the Intercom chat button on the bottom right side of the screen if you have any questions.
