How to Share your NWEA MAP Data with eSpark

Our partner schools and districts can share their NWEA data with us, and we can use it to set student levels for eSpark! (Don't worry if you don't use NWEA, your students will take a placement quiz in eSpark instead!)

A school or district admin can schedule delivery of exportable MAP Growth results data using the Data Export Scheduler, available from the MAP Growth Reports landing page. The results are delivered from NWEA in CSV format and packaged in a .zip file.

For eSpark, we need the basic Comprehensive Data files:

  • StudentBySchool.csv β€” Student-to-school associations

  • AssessmentResults.csv β€” All valid assessment results for students in the specified term

In addition to the NWEA data, we also need a special CSV file so we can connect the students' eSpark accounts to their NWEA scores. You can find a template here.

You can upload all three files using our secure file sharing link here.
