How Assignment First Mode Works

When Assignment First Mode is turned on:

  • Students are required to complete all teacher-assigned lessons first, in the From My Teacher section of their Student Dashboard.

  • Student Adaptive Pathways (My Quests) are locked until all assigned activities are completed.

  • Once assignments are finished, students can then access their My Quests section.

** Assignment First Mode is automatically turned on in ALL teacher accounts. **

Why Use Assignment First Mode?

Assignment First Mode is especially helpful when teachers want to:

  • Keep students focused on priority skills or lessons

  • Ensure assignments are completed during independent work time or center blocks

  • Encourage mastery of skills that align with their Core Curricula
